14 Mukhi
₹ 48,100
Part of VIZHEE's Rudraksha collection, this piece is a 14-mukhi bead, linked in the classical texts to Mahadeva and the planet Saturn. A soft cloth and a dry, sunlight-free spot are all the care it really needs. Most people wear it as quiet attention turned inward, in keeping with staying aligned with the cosmos and rooted in the earth. However you come to it, the piece is meant to be worn, not shelved.

Read by hand: we count the 14 mukhi (faces) on the bead ourselves — there is no external document behind that reading.
The Padma Purana account (via Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham) describes the fourteen-faced bead as representing Maha Deva — Shiva himself — ruled by Saturn, with the mantra Om Namah Shivaya. Widely repeated contemporary retail and astrology sources instead attribute it to Hanuman (sometimes phrased as 'Shiva's third eye'), while still agreeing on Saturn as the ruling planet. Described here as tradition, not as a guaranteed effect.
Seed of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, worn as a prayer bead across Hindu and Buddhist tradition. Natural beads vary in colour and grain and may deepen with wear — a mark of a real bead, not a fault.
Keep away from water, perfume and harsh chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store flat, away from direct sunlight. Rudraksha and other natural beads may deepen in tone with wear — this is expected, and part of how a piece becomes yours.
