Chosen for VIZHEE's Pendants collection, this piece comes finished in silver. This one is styled to be worn by women. Simple care keeps it looking right — a dry cloth, no chemicals, and no direct sun for long stretches. Some keep it on for a fixed practice each morning; others simply leave it on and forget it is there. Some wear it on its own; others add it to a piece they already have — either way, it's built to be lived in.
Ships across India and worldwide — dispatched from India, typically within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Free shipping within India; worldwide is calculated at checkout. See shipping policy
Described from what the piece plainly is — its material, form and finish, seen on the item itself.
Set in 925 sterling silver (92.5% silver). Where a piece carries a BIS hallmark it is stated on its listing. Natural beads vary in colour and grain and may deepen with wear — a mark of a real bead, not a fault.
Mangalsutra combines Sanskrit maṅgala ('auspicious, propitious') and sūtra ('thread/cord'). It is tied by the groom around the bride's neck during the wedding ritual known as Mangalya Dharanam ('wearing the auspicious'), after which it is worn by the woman for the remainder of the marriage as a visual marker of marital status. Worn by married Hindu women across most Indian regions and diaspora communities, put on at the wedding ceremony and generally worn continuously thereafter; conventions on when it may be removed vary by region and family.
Keep away from water, perfume and harsh chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store flat, away from direct sunlight. Rudraksha and other natural beads may deepen in tone with wear — this is expected, and part of how a piece becomes yours.
