Rudraksha
₹ 35,000
Drawn from VIZHEE's Rudraksha Kavach line, this piece is built from rudraksha beads, strung the way the bead is traditionally worn. It earns its place through wear, not through being looked at — worn daily, it's rooted in the earth as much as aimed at the cosmos. Treat it gently: no water, no perfume, no rough handling, and it holds up well over time. However you come to it, the piece is meant to be worn, not shelved.

The name joins Sanskrit 'Rudra' (a name of Shiva) and 'aksha' (eye), traditionally rendered as 'eye of Rudra/Shiva'. Puranic and Upanishadic accounts describe the beads as having arisen from Shiva's tears; Hindu and Buddhist practitioners, especially within Shaivism, string rudraksha seeds into 108-bead malas for japa (mantra repetition) and meditation. Described here as tradition, not as a guaranteed effect.
Seed of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, worn as a prayer bead across Hindu and Buddhist tradition. Natural beads vary in colour and grain and may deepen with wear — a mark of a real bead, not a fault.
Kavaca (कवच) is Sanskrit for 'armor' or 'coat of mail', the covering worn by a soldier against weapons; the word appears in this literal sense in classical texts including the Ramayana and Mahabharata. By extension, kavaca came to describe a protective charm or amulet — historically, for instance, a piece of bark inscribed with verses and carried on the body — and, in tantric traditions such as Shaktism, one of the recognized 'limbs' (anga) of mantra practice associated with a deity, used as a devotional or protective recitation/object. Worn by devotees seeking a protective or steadying symbol; specific rudraksha-mukhi combinations sold as kavach pieces are a retail convention rather than a single scripturally fixed formula.
Keep away from water, perfume and harsh chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store flat, away from direct sunlight. Rudraksha and other natural beads may deepen in tone with wear — this is expected, and part of how a piece becomes yours.
