Silver Idols & Murti
₹ 9,900
From the Silver Idols & Murti edit, this piece comes finished in silver. Kept on through the day, it works less as ornament and more as a steady point of focus — the cosmos held close, the earth still underfoot. It's a small, steady addition to how you already dress, not a statement on its own. Let it stay dry, keep it out of direct sun for long stretches, and a quick wipe now and then is enough.

Described from what the piece plainly is — its material, form and finish, seen on the item itself.
Set in 925 sterling silver (92.5% silver). Where a piece carries a BIS hallmark it is stated on its listing. Natural beads vary in colour and grain and may deepen with wear — a mark of a real bead, not a fault.
The Sanskrit word mūrti means 'form' or 'embodiment'; vigraha is a related term, sometimes glossed as a transcendental form. Two views coexist in Hindu thought about a murti's status: one holds that the deity becomes embodied in the image itself, so that engaging with it — seeing and being seen by the deity, or darshan — is a direct, immanent access to the divine; the other holds the murti is a symbolic representation that helps a devotee concentrate devotion on a formless (nirguna) divine that takes form (saguna) out of compassion for worshippers. Not worn; kept in home shrines, temples, or on personal altars, and handled according to the household's or temple's own ritual conventions (bathing, dressing, offerings).
Keep away from water, perfume and harsh chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store flat, away from direct sunlight. Rudraksha and other natural beads may deepen in tone with wear — this is expected, and part of how a piece becomes yours.
